Our HR licence course is ideal for drivers wanting to operate heavy rigid vehicles such as buses, large trucks and vehicles with a trailer up to 9 tonnes GVM. Students from Catherine Field receive one‑on‑one training using modern automatic and synchromesh HR trucks.

Eligibility:
Must hold a Class C licence or P2 at least 2 years
Our HC licence course is designed for drivers upgrading to articulated or heavy combination vehicles. Catherine Field students train in real HC vehicles with accredited instructors who guide you through every step of the HVCBA process.

Must hold MR or HR licence for at least 1 year
The MC licence course is the highest heavy vehicle licence in NSW. Our MC training prepares Catherine Field drivers to operate B‑doubles, road trains and multi‑trailer combinations with confidence.

HVCBA final assessment
Eligibility:
Must hold HR or HC licence for at least 1 year
Our direct HR → MC upgrade allows Catherine Field drivers to move straight from HR to MC without completing the HC licence first. Training is one‑on‑one with RMS‑accredited instructors using modern MC vehicles.
